ur Pre-Starters course is a great way to encourage children towards taking the globally-recognised Cambridge YLE courses for English language.
Building Blocks Pre-Starters course incorporates and enriches student’s fundamental English language skills in an interactive approach through listening, reading, writing, speaking and many more exciting thematic components.

ecommended Course/Certificate to complete/achieve before Primary 1 school allocation as it is notably beneficial for building up student portfolio and interview skills.

• After attaining the Starters certificate, students will be able to utilise essential English vocabulary and construct simple sentences and be equipped with proper knowledge of the alphabet and phonetic sounds respectively so that they can speak with confidence and clarity.

Quick and easy grammar and sentence patterns will be introduced to the learners, as well as composing short paragraphs. This course incorporates and emphasises the meaningful usage of everyday grammar and vocabulary by using various interesting themes to develop the students' English language skills including listening, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking.

Movers

C

ambridge Movers is the next step where children are introduced to everyday written, spoken English and listening in a more complex manner. It is an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.

The Movers includes familiar topics and focus on the skills like using past simple tenses (e.g. ‘I did’), talking about what is happening in a picture story, talking about the differences between two pictures etc. 

*Depending on the student's English level, a free assessment would be provided for an in-depth analysis of students’ English proficiency.

Flyers

upils will be introduced to advanced topics and will learn how to respond to activity-based exercises in Cambridge Flyers which is the final Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. Doing Flyers would enable your child to understand English in everyday situations and communicate in basic English.

They would be able to explain the differences between two stories or pictures, write or tell a short story in English, ask questions and use the past continuous (e.g. ‘I was doing’) and future tense and etc.

*Depending on the student's English level, a free assessment would be provided for an in-depth analysis of students’ English proficiency.

It helps them foster the skills of advanced reading and writing while giving students to communicate in exceptional speaking skills. Students would have broader English vocabulary, improved pronunciations, effective communication in a variety of daily-life situations and understand longer listening settings like TV shows, lectures and videos.
