This is an interactive, theme based, dynamic & fun-filled course for children aged 3-7 years to learn and/or strengthen their English skills. Fun Talk offers a progressive and stimulating learning experience, where children can develop language and cognitive skills through listening, observing, exploring, doing and experiencing.

Recognising letters and words is an important first step in learning to read. However, it is only a first step; it is vital that students fully understand, what they are reading. They must be able to get the meaning of the text: What is the author telling the reader? Moreover, learning creative writing assists children with reading comprehension, encourages the creation of unique ideas and improves problem-solving skills. Studies show that young children, who read a lot, demonstrate more traits of literacy than those who don’t. Important is that they are presented with material which is appropriate and interesting.

Building Blocks’ Reading Comprehension & Creative Writing Program enables students to understand the depth within storytelling, but also to coach them to differentiate when creativity is acceptable and when the situation calls for the truth. However, the idea of speaking in front of a group of people is quite intimidating. Moreover, recent studies show, that the underlying reason why adults fear public speaking is that they never learned how to feel relaxed in front of a crowd as kids.

The ability to master Public Speaking is a fundamental aspect everyday life. Like anything else, public speaking, presentation and communication is not learned in a day but through a continuous process. By doing so, one has the possibility to develop the necessary skills to become a powerful speaker.

What is Grammar and why is it important?

In a nutshell, it's just a set of rules that must be followed to make words work together in order to create a sentence.
However, understanding and using grammar in the proper context can be a great challenge. Rather than simply trusting "what sounds right", the challenge is to use a logical approach in determining the most suitable appropriate way of forming a sentence. With grammar, it is possible to describe things accurately, whether for speaking or for writing. It also helps us understand the meaning of many different sentences through the different structures

Building Blocks' "English Grammar - The Logic Of Writing" course enables students to fully grasp the rules and structures framework which define the English language and also focuses on avoiding common mistakes. It also helps students not only expand their vocabulary, but also learn how to effectively reply to longer questions using complete sentences and proper tenses.

In the Fun Talk Plus course, we use interactive and theme based English Language material to develop a strong communication ability in primary and secondary school students so that they can express themselves more confidently and talk on topics related to daily life and more with ease.

Students would be exposed to story-telling, commonly used dialogues and debates. They would have many chances to practice English speaking with our native English teachers.


In the creative writing course, students are coached to analyze and comprehend the given instructions critically and come up with relevant essays written with specific writing techniques like description, narration, etc.
Students are exposed to various writing styles and are taught to write in proper but engaging sentence structure. They would be provided with an array of rich vocabulary so that their passages are more fun and compelling to read. 

In English all-in-one course, students would be able to do the combination of a reading comprehension, grammar and creative writing in each class. The goal of this course is to help students analyze and understand the content in a more critical and timely manner while answering comprehensives. They would be able to use appropriate grammar required in the content accordingly. This course includes a creative writing part in which students would be guided to use proper sentence structures while incorporating articulate vocabulary. 

Interview preparation is suitable for students who are anxious about their admission to primary one or secondary one or etc. This course enables students to hold coherent conversations about topics related to themselves, daily life, and current events.

Their confidence would be further built as they would practice speaking and be coached to use the best vocabulary and phrases to express their meaning more articulately. Secondary school students would be taught how to do group interview discussion though practicing on commonly interviewed topics.
